Fallon allready has one of the best 103's in the north in Colin Merkley. The kid from Idaho better be real good or bump to 112. He got 5th at state in Idaho last year.

There is actually going to be some "other" really good 103 pounders in Las vegas this year. Look for Shadow Ridge, Arbor View and Bishop Gorman all to have 103 pounders who have won youth national titles.

What does "other" mean? I am sure Vegas has many fine light weight wrestlers in their freshman classes. We in the north do not get to see them as youth wrestlers since most of Vegas does not wrestle USA wrestling and we do up here. Five or six years ago we saw many vegas wrestlers at the USA Nevada State Championships but that has turned into a all northern Nevada division. Does the south wrestle AAU? We should try to put on some type of state meet for youth wrestling so the north and south could at least see each other once a year at the youth level. After watching Owen Craugh dominate Cody Pack I would have trouble believing any freshman could beat him whatever national titles they have won. That is if Owen can make 103's. I am hoping he does Owen is a good kid and deserves his shot.
