Im not sure superstate is the way to go in Nevada. The 4a schools would still dominate with a few kids from 1a/2a and 3a springled in there. The drop off is significant from 4a to 3a and is huge from 3a to 2a. Nothing against 2a it was very similar to watching some 4a JV wrestling. Again there were some kids at 2a that were very good. Nevada should keep it seperate so more kids can experience state. Nevada needs to go back to a 16 man bracket.

1. 16 Man Bracket. 2. Much larger Venue. 3. Keep all Levels in same locations but maintain seperation of competition. 4. Use the program to recognize honorees to save time. 5. Announce the competitors while they wrestle. 6.

I have received a couple suggestions to implement a challenge system where 2A/3A/4A State Champions could challenge another Champion. Problem is what would a 4A kid have to gain?

Even if a challeng system was implemented you might have 1 or 2 challenges on average per year. The kids know who is the best. Doesnt make sense. Let the toughest from 1a/2a and 3a jump up and compete in the tourny to justify them being able to challenge.
