The only thing I can report is that Jordon O Neil ,DR won at 112. Good job Jordon! I left after that. The format was just too long. I could elaborate but it doesnt matter- the NIAA will do whatever it wants anyways. Pig tails being wrestled before opening ceremonies, 2, 3 and 4 a finals all at the same time,, still being held at a high school, that would be a small start. Pat on the back to all the wrestlers in the finals!

I know some Douglas results.
Ferris 4th Molina 4th Hekhius 4th Williams 4th Barker 5th?
I heard these finals but not positive oneil/craugh Lamborn/atwood Powers/williams? Williams/Morales Gardner/cimarron
I only remember from what Miller told me. He left before finals. For those wondering or care Shane took 8th in Cal Junior College at 184's the deepest weight class by far. Right now pounding the weights hard (weighs 208) and may wrestle heavy's next year. Lassen forfeited half the season and I think it hurt the team. Lassen still looking for some good wrestlers for next year. 20 bucks a credit for Cal/Nevada residents and very few distractions (Susanville Ca) compared to big city schools. Congrats to all the wrestlers!

Congrats to Mohave, they clinched before the finals even began, which made the team championship a little anticlimatic. Looks like it could be a dogfight next year with Mohave moving into the Sunrise division. Cimmaron looks like they could have four to five state champs next year. Gorman could be at the infant stages of dominance!

Actually, I believe Barrett already signed his National Letter of Intent and scholarship in November before the wrestling season began. You said he was given points (plural) which was confusing, he had an escape after Trey's first takedown, then he got a takedown, he received one point for Edmunds stall, then he escaped in the third. Pretty easy to follow that. If he didn't stall to hold Barrett down in the second , Barrett would have receiced a point for an escape anyway. It seemed Barrett wanted it to go to the mat as he let Trey up fairly quick, obviously Barrett could lock an ankle like Trey did and hold anyone down, but the refs usually will hit you with a stall call for that technique, that is if the ref knows anything about wrestling. It looked like a clasic college match, both wrestlers should be congratulated for a great showing.

It should have been 4 to 1 after the first period not 4 to 3. If the ref just let the wrestling to continue or should I say the first takedown to actually finish it wouldnt have been a take down for barrett with a reversal for edmonds. It would have been just a takedown for Edmonds with Barrett getting an escape and Edmonds getting another take down. 4 to 1 after one. You see bad officiating cost Edmonds more than once. As for the stalling when he was riding an ankle, if you were watching you would have seen Edmonds had locked up an arm bar and was going to work for a tilt. Like I said the ref needs to let two top notch wrestlers wrestle and decide it that way not with some BS calls. You know Barrett got the calls. Reminds me of Jonny Hendricks from Oky state. He always gets the calls, like in the finals last year at the NCAA

Yeah, big conspiracy theory What color is the sky in your world. I believe that was a Northern ref, which is probably the first time he ever saw the South kids. Bottom line in overtime who ever took the other down won, or was that not a take down in overtime. Both wrestlers can hold there head up high. It was a great match, people predicted overtime, quit blaming the refs. The match went pretty much the way everyone thought it would, the only unkown was who would prevail. Two warriors going at it. I am done with this topic, no more responses.
