Lets talk about upsets at state. There are always a hand full. Could be one 103 with the kid up north winning it all. Nobody has even mention him. At 125 you have Delporto, nobody is talking about. Would that really be an upset if he wins it. At 171 nobody is talking about Ferris, seems nobody has talked about him. He could be the one. At 189 all anybody is talking about is Powers. He just might be a little over confident. His first match might be against the kid that was actually favored to win zone up north. At 215 nobody is talking about the kid on the other side of the bracket. Do you think he might have something to say? Wrestling is just one of those sports that styles make matches. I can tell you one thing it is going to be great weekend of wrestling.

Thats right my mistake. Theres another one 119 Delporto not getting much consideration and neither is Wilson at 125. He only dominated Bozin in the semis at zone. Go north, go get them south boys this weekend and bring home the golds.

Scores dont always give a true indication as to what happened in a match. Bozin was controlled physically. He couldnt get off the mat. After a while when he realized he was being controlled, he quit mentally. 4 to 3 yes, it really wasnt that close. I saw it, I was there, I was suprised.

Upsets at state:
112-Craugh beats Evans in Simi and Oneal in the Finals
140-Padilla beats Price in the Finals
189-Williams beats Powers in the Finals
Possible? Maybe at one spot probable?

Have to admit, Harris over Evans could have been biggest upset.

That was a great finals match! The duck under at the end of the first period by Harris and then the 360 double leg by Evans. Wow, I look forward to watching these kids in the future.
