This is the 22nd year of the Eastside Classic Wrestling Tournament--last year we hosted 460 wrestlers and were finished before 8 p.m.
There is a Varsity division and a Junior Varsity division as well (wrestlers in the JV division must be younger than 12 AND in the 6th grade or below). Brackets are 16-man double-elimination. We will split brackets if needed in the JV division.
We offer the BEST facilities (6 mats in one FANTASTIC gym, 8 mats total); the BEST organization; the BEST concessions (GREAT food, T-shirts, lots of parking, etc.); and the BEST awards anywhere!
Last year we had teams from Oregon, Nevada, the Bay Area, Central Calif, Southern Calif, and all our own Norcal talent.
This tournament is worth the drive--motel accomodations are plentiful in Redding, or you can park your RV in the parking lot (no hookups and advance notice is necessary). Ask Coach Vallotton.
We promise we will make this the highlight of your tournament season. E-mail Foothill coach Jerry Vallotton for details jvallotton@suhsd.net
