never really seen the Iowa kid, so Im not so sure on that at 130's. Hey is Azzam back or is he graduating. How about Garcia from CM, and the little Tahoe 103 pounder. Will Longmire go up to 103? Do you think Debraga, Harris, and Evans all go the same weight again, not so sure about that. That is a pretty good starting point.

Also, Bettinson looked great this weekend, he gave Pierce and Riley good battles and was quite a bit lighter. If Merkley is his size that will be a battle! Im sure Bettinson under coach Joe's tutoring will be the man. Hopefully they take it easy on us as discussed in the past.

Riley Frazier will be a senior this year and will most likely wrestle 112. Dont forget Will Frazier
28-6 varisty record as a freshman last season @112 was injured just before zone. He weighed 122 for his weights max week and ended up with the third highest exponent of all McQ freshman. 119 or 125 next year. Did Spencer Oneil really put on that much weight since Zone? Merkley over Bettinson would be my bet both are outstanding.

Transfers are always a guessing game as their accomplishmenst are usually only known on paper. Azzam will be a senior next year and will probably be able to stay at his best weight with Lamborn finally vacating 60's after a four year run.

The whole weight and growth factor is impossible to predict. I have seen kids stay at one weight all four years and others go from 19 pound freshman to 89 pound seniors. You can never tell. With Trevor deBragga I think he is going to be considerably heavier this year. Just my guess but he seems to be putting on more muscle.

If Bo is at 103's I think he walks away with that weight class in the North. way more experience than anyone else despite being a Freshman and stronger and more physical than any of the other kids. 112 would be another story for him as those guys can match his strength. Freshman are always a mystery when it comes to certification especially at those weights.

Coming out of the Sunset watch out for:
Napoleon Aniciete a freshman 103 pounder

Trey McIlheney 189 pound sophmore from Mojave who placed 2nd at Sunset regional to Reggie Powers as a freshman

... and what about Glenn Terano a senior 125 pounder from Palo Verde. He was 1st at Sunset Regional and 2nd at State as a Junior in 2007!
