From Brett Edmunds Hey Alumni, We have been invited to put together a junior dual team that will also include some smaller cadets if we cannot fill those weights, It will be held in Pocatello Idaho. I would like to put together a team to represent TEAM NEVADA in this Freestyle and Greco event. I believe it will be a great tune up for Fargo. We need to raise some immediate money for the two dual teams that we are trying to put together, any donations from our community are appreciated, please contact me ASAP so we can get these teams on the road to success. I read a lot of post on the Nevada forum about raising money for facility usage for the high school state tournament, the success of our athletes is built in the off season and they are looking for our financial help right now. Lets pull together and get these kids to ALL the important tournaments we can. Some of our wrestling families cannot afford to send their kids to all the big events, but with the help of our community they can and they will represent our state proudly. I will get this started by initiating the first private donation to TEAM NEVADA for $500.00.

You can send donations to USA NEVADA WRESTLING at 13155 Stoneybrook Dr. Reno, NV. 89511. ANY amount will help and be very appreciated. Make checks payable to USA NEVADA WRESTLING
We also have a tax id number available for anyone that needs it for tax reasons.
Money Talks folks. Good luck convincing me that some people are out to do anything but help these kids succeed.

Brett Edmunds
Alumni, I just got off the phone with the director of the Pocatello Junior duals and he comfirmed that a graduating senior CAN compete at this and all junior events. The dates will be June 29-30. Greco on Friday freestyle on Saturday. The event is located on Idaho State U. campus. They will be sending me info on hotels, and I think the most economical way of getting there will be 15 passenger vans. I checked into a bus and it was almost $5000.00 for the 4 days, airfare is only into Salt Lake 2 hours away.

Alumni, do you have multiple personalities ? It seems that you are carrying on a conversation with yourself. Does Nevada just not get any response from the web master ? Is it set up on a bi-annual check or something ? What will happen if you restart the forum ? Will we have to register again & be in the same boat that the new members are in & not be approved to post ?

Alumni, do you have multiple personalities? Ask Mary. It seems that you are carrying on a conversation with yourself. Wait until July. Does Nevada just not get any response from the web master? The "Administrator has abandonded us. Pro Boards will not help. Is it set up on a bi-annual check or something ? What will happen if you restart the forum? Starts all over again from zero. Will we have to register again & be in the same boat that the new members are in & not be approved to post? Yes, except for a more active Administrator that should not be a concern.Any better ideas? Too many important people can't get on. I'm posting copies of e-mails that I get from people that cannot get approval.

Alumni is merely trying to find a solution to a problem. If anyone has a better idea then please - let your voice resound! If not, beginning a new forum and starting all over again seems reasonable to me after all, alot of this stuff is old. Buck I understand your concern about the "holding pattern" however, I believe that if Alumni serves as an administrator, your question with regard to the the "bi-annual" check can be put to rest. He is on here ALL DAY LONG!! In addition, and please forgive me for my ignorance, is the cause of this thing the fact that people are creating alias names? I remember when this got started that the administrator had the ability to review the "ftp" addresses and if you were found to create multiple screen names (obviously in an effort to hide your identity) you would get locked out? Seems to me that people attempting to create "multiple personalities" have ruined it for alot of people.

Seems to me that people attempting to create "multiple personalities" have ruined it for alot of people. Multiple sign-ons did seem to be the primary hold up originally. However, I now have four people who have only done one and are going on five weeks waiting for approval. Besides the approvals and sign ons I really think we are missing the true function of this board. 1. There is no calender. We should have schedules and tournaments and practices on a calender for anyone to see regardless of membership. I get e-mails all the time from California coaches who do not want to sign on but want to get info on Nevada Tournaments. 2. There should be permanent links to the NIAA, Youth Teams, Club Teams, WOW, Fargo, Nationals.

Thanks Alumni, the post was definitely filled with sarcasm & was not meant as being mean to Alumni. It was meant to further point out the frustration new members are having to go through just to gain access to this forum. Here is a link to the Southern Nevada Wrestling Association, it is the youth league in Las Vegas that charters through AAU. www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=nevadawrestlingLVWA is the league that charters through USA Wrestling, I am not sure if they have a website though. These are the two leagues in Southern Nevada.

We need an active admin on this site. Proboards has added several desirable goodies that we could use including a chat button that can be used directly from the forum (as well as the calender/schedule that has always been here). I vote to spend a couple of days to find the old admin, beat the PW out of him/her, and fix this board - or scrap it and start new with all the latest bells and whistles (as well as the ability for people to register on it - its not fair to make Art and Brett sulk, they really are good guys).

Hey Art and Brett,
How does a BWW night sound (now that there is one in Reno). "Now that is how you brown-nose."
