Beacause coaches and seeding meetings for the three 4A regions do not happen until 12:30 p.m. on Friday it is doubtful that any brackets will be posted. However, brackets for State will be completed Sunday the 6th and with any luck will be posted here that same night.

Then we can only hope that those fortunate enough to have copies of seedings and or brackets will be willing to post that information.

Once the brackets come out there will be some errors in it. I know from our team standpoint the following wrestlers will not compete, we had some misfortune the last few weeks, hopefully that will help once everything is listed
Brock Frank 103 Trey Edmunds 112 Travis Moon 215 John Hume HVT Micah Chalk 140

2 of the 3 seeding meetings were srewed up on Monday. Corrections were being made as late as this afternoon and probably into tomorrow. The big monkey wrench was the great idea of allowing "extras" to wrestle. Teams did not put their extras on the official tournament ledger but rather, it seems like-----no evidence, waited to see were kids were placed and tried to move their extras or place others in certain spots. Many of the coaches who pushed the extra wrestler idea couldn't even follow the rules posted by the NIAA as far as having all the paper work in on time and filled out correctly. Hopefully all is worked out by Friday and no shiestering takes place.

strange that someone mentioned that that 2 of 3 regions had screwed up seedings. I do not know about the north or Sunset regions, but I heard that the Sunrise region only seeded the top 2 from each division then just did a random draw. Sounded like a case of coaches not wanting to be there until 2 am or getting home to their families. The extras that each school could bringmay have affected that since where do you put them. But I can tell you it was not done fairly.
Part of why kids wrestle to win is to set themselves up with a good seed. THe purpose of working for a good seed is to earn the 'path of least resisitance' in qualitying for state. I'm not sure that was done.
Good example is the Foothill 103 lber. He is a #1 seed who is facing a guy that some thought he might see in the semis or finals and he has him the first round. If he wins he advances to meet a kid who won only 1 division match but received a bye.
I's like to know what screw ups happened in those regions, other than just sloppy 'just get this thing done' seeding.
