not a bad prediction but I think it will look quite a bit different in the lighter to middle weights, from what I've heard there has been alot of ducking and juggling going on with a few surprises.

I've seen both goonan and jacobs wrestle several time and goonan looks alot better

I have been hearing that for a week now. That is the reason for my being so late with posting anything. I actually have a list top six and sometime more deep but because of the juggling it isn't worth sending out.

I am sure there will be discrepencies mostly because of poor regional seeding but this is the best I could do for now.

Its hard to predict because of 'so called' random draws of of the brackets and seeds by the 'nORTHERN iNFLUENCE OF THE NIAA" Some of these kids maybe #1 seeds may meet in the semifinals and not in the finals. Two #1 seeds will meet each other in each bracket providing they win their first match.

And I don't trust the honestly of the NIAA. and its primarynb NOrthern Nevada influence to ensure maybe two #1 seeds from the south meet and ensure a Northern kid in finals even if the two south kids are superior.

I remember they had to make changes last year.

It is VERY hard to predict and not just because of the draws. Most of it comes because there is so little contact between Nevada kids through the short season. I don't agree with the system in place but it is all we have right now and until a solution is proposed it will have to do. Contrary to what some think this board is exactly what is needed to actually get this wrestling thing right.

Northen Influence - Southern Influence, makes no difference. That argument exists across the board regardless of gender and athletic event.

However, no matter where kids are seeded how could anyone PROVE that any given #1's are "superior"? Nobody wrestles everyone. Human predictions have to come into effect someplace.

Unofficially, Pami is going 145. That way he will be able to wrestle that weight again in senior nationals. Who does that bump into the 152 final prediction now ?
Goonan is getting better & better every week with collegiate style wrestling. I am not sure if Jacobs will be able to handle a Goonan hip toss of some sort. Roger Harper should make some noise at 160.

Sure would be nice to see where everyone ended up after rosters were due Monday. Too bad coaches are more worried about keeping secrets than just out preparing their team for what everyone knows is coming.

Pami at 45's moves him to 1 there and the current 1 to 2.

52's becomes a very close Duke v Diaz (CC).

If Jacobs avoids a throw he wins...if not Goonan tosses his way to a 215 title.

Isn't Harper hurt? If he is back how strong is he now?

What do you think about Trey Edmunds at 119?

His coach put out a post that Trey was one of several DR wrestlers who would not be competing at zone due to injuries. Actually, Trey was hurt all year.

With Pami moving down to 45's the 52lb class seem up for grabs. who are the new favorites? I saw the 152 sunset bracket sheet and did not see Mills name on it ,is he out for the season or did he change classes? Also what about Duke and Diaz Match up?

trey is a good wrestler but like alumni said .... he wont be wrestling at zones
